
Artemis Yagou (PhD, MA) is a design researcher and teacher based in Athens, Greece. She is the deputy course leader of the interdisciplinary MA in Design course at AKTO art and design (private college, Athens) and pursues independent research into the history of Greek design as well as into design theory. Currently, her work is primarily focused on the uses of nationalism in design, on design education, on the history of dress, as well as on design in the context of the history of technology. She publishes regularly in international journals and recently she was invited speaker at the Athens University of Economics and Business and the Istanbul Technical University. She is also a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Design History.
